ABOUT US

West Point Rail & Timber has built a robust construction division over five decades, initially focusing on Forest Timber Harvesting. Through organic growth, we expanded our civil division to serve both local and regional markets. Our commitment to excellence led us to play a pivotal role in the LNCG Natural Gas Line project, collaborating closely with Prime Contractors. We provided specialized aggregate materials, on-site crushing equipment, logging support, and heavy hauling services. Today, West Point Rail remains a trusted partner for major project groups, offering comprehensive solutions for civil construction and material supply requirements.

Logging Operations

West Point Rail provides an extensive array of logging services, with a fleet of over 300 pieces of logging equipment, 75 log trucks, and comprehensive log sorting capabilities. West Point Rail upholds stringent standards, prioritizing operational safety and quality control. Our dedicated specialists oversee all aspects of cut fiber management, ensuring excellence at every stage.

Rail Services

In 2020, West Point Rail obtained full permits from RSBC, ensuring all railway staff are CROR certified. Our range of unique services includes transloading dry bulk materials from railcars to transport trucks, loading and offloading commodities, and providing 200 acres of rail yard storage for major project materials.

West Point Rail stands as Houston's premier aggregate supplier, holding the distinction of being the primary provider of processed materials for the CGL pipeline. We specialize in processing both MOTI spec materials and project-specific materials, adhering to engineering specifications.

Through D&M Industrial Supplies, we can offer environmental products, safety equipment, fire prevention tools, welding supplies, tools, tidy tanks, pumps, hydraulic hoses, safety gear, and machine shop services like welding and manufacturing.

Truck & Transport

Since acquiring the Houston Truck Shop, West Point Rail has grown as a transport contractor, partnering with commodity clients to load and ship materials from the Houston Rail Yard. The logging fleet, now over 75 units with short and long log trailers, continues to expand, supporting timber delivery to mills. Serving from Prince Rupert to Prince George.
